CIT is situated in Kundrathur, a temple town located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Laboratories:
At CIT, students are given the best equipments for practical sessions, which are conducted in the finest labs. Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Workshop Lab, Computer Lab, Communication lab ( For Fluency in English ), Electrical & Electronics Lab, Manufacturing and Technology lab (Mech Engg), Electrical Circuit Lab, Electron Devices Lab, Strength of Materials Lab, Fluid Mechanics & Machinery Lab, CAD Lab, Survey Lab are some of the lab facilities offered to the students.
Library:
CIT stocks over 7000 books and study materials for the students' benefit. Apart from books, periodicals, journals etc, an Air Conditioned Digital library with multimedia material is also available for the students.
Clubs:
CIT provides various social and leisure activity options to their students, and thus making the learning process more enjoyable. For this purpose, Young Entrepreneurs Club, Public Speaking Club and Creative Club have been set up.
Canteen:
Well balanced and nutritious meals are provided for the students round the clock. There are separate dining halls for girls and boys.
Hostel:
CIT aims to provide all students with high quality, hygienic and safe accommodation to meet individual needs. Separate hostels for boys and girls are available and at present, we can accommodate 500 students. All rooms are furnished with bed, cupboard, etc.
Transport:
CIT has an established bus system which is well connected to most parts of Chennai City and its neighborhood towns.
